Peter Nuttall was born in Blackburn and studied at Maidstone College of Art where Elisabeth Frink was a tutor. In 1966 he moved to the village of Swavesey, near Cambridge. He is noted for his somewhat surreal drawings in pen and ink, watercolour and chalks. He is represented in the collection of Kettle’s Yard, University of Cambridge.
