Titi in Pregancy
Count William de Belleroche was born in London but spent most of his life living in Sussex. He taught himself to paint but was much influenced and helped by Frank Brangwyn, whom he met in 1934. He wrote several books on Brangwyn and acquired the largest private collection of his work. His initiative led to the foundation of the Brangwyn-de Belleroche Museum in Orange, France. Of bohemian nature he had a wide circle of artistic and theatrical friends. He exhibited at the Fine Art Society, Grosvenor Galleries and elsewhere. The British Museum and many overseas collections hold examples of his work.
