Constance Phillott was the daughter of Arthur Phillott, a physician, and Frances Frend, the daughter of the writer and social reformer William Frend. On her mother’s side she was first cousin to the ceramic designer William de Morgan and studied alongside him at the Royal Academy Schools. She exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Society of British Artists and Royal Society of Painters in Watercolours. She lived in London.
