Terry Clark
                                    1932
United Kingdom Born in South London and educated at the Fisher School, Purley and Christ's College, Cambridge. He spent 1953-55 doing National Service in the Royal Air Force and upon leaving started a career in business and marketing, eventually becoming Principal Business Adviser to the London Borough of Lambeth. A part-time and self-taught artist, he painted beach scenes, fishing boats and biblical subjects. In 1982 he was awarded a mature studentship to Chelsea School of Art but failing to gain a grant was only able to attend occasionally. He had a few one-man shows at the Portal Gallery, London including one joint exhibition with Beryl Cook.
