Claude Allin Shepperson

1867 - 1937

United kingdom Shepperson was born in Beckenham, Kent. He studied art at Heatherley's and then in Paris. Working principally as illustrator and lithographer he also occasionally worked in watercolour. He was a regular contributor of illustrations to Punch, Graphic, Strand and many other magazines. He was elected RI in 1900, ARWS in 1920 and ARA in 1919. Works by him are in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum.
