Amy Beatrice Atkinson

1859 - 1916

Amy Beatrice Atkinson was both in Norfolk, the daughter of a vicar. In the late 1880s she was working in the artist community in Cornwall, participating the 1890s Doweswell’s exhibition of Works by Artists from St Ives, Newlyn and Falmouth. From the early 189s she was living in Chelsea where she remained until her death. She was a prolific exhibitor in London venues. Works by her are in the collections of Manchester City Art Gallery, York Art Gallery and Keele University Art Collection.
