Alex is an artist based in Cambridge, known for creating timeless and evocative artwork with oil paint on canvas board. "My technique involves a deliberate exploration of brush strokes and colour to suggest texture within the observed subjects. The softness of a peach’s skin or the roughness of a woody stem are brought into being, through the subtle manipulation of paint. Through this collection, I hope to inspire viewers to pause and reflect on the quiet beauty found in the everyday.
