Jessie Pym studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and in Paris. She was fond of agricultural and equestrian subjects, notably based on the South Downs. She showed at the Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours and Society of Women Artists. She lived at Selmeston, Sussex.
