A painter and caricaturist, Grosvenor was born in Normanton, Yorkshire. He studied at Liverpool City School of Art 1924-27. He later taught in Normanton. He exhibited in Liverpool, Manchester and the Royal Cambrian Academy, being elected a member of the later.
