Paul Lucien Maze

United Kingdom Painter in oils, watercolours and pastesl. Born in Le Havre.

Fought in the WW1 with the Royal Scots Guards, where he met Winston Churchill. Took up painting professionally after the war and taught Churchill to paint. Worked in Paris between the wars and was friends with Derain and De Segonzac. He exhibited in London, Paris and New York. A retrospective of his work was held at Browse & Darby in 1982.
